Proposal Coordinator
Location: Toronto (Hybrid)

StrategyCorp is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our growing Management Consulting practice. This position is ideal for an early- to mid-career professional with strong organizational, writing, and project management skills who enjoys working collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced consulting environment. 

StrategyCorp regularly responds to complex, multi-interest holder Request for Proposals (RFP) from governments, public agencies, and mission-driven organizations across Canada. Our work often involves coordinating input from subject matter experts, translating technical ideas into clear, compelling narratives, and aligning our proposals with detailed evaluation criteria, budgets, and timelines. As a Proposal Coordinator, you will be at the centre of this process: organizing information, shaping key messages, and helping to tell the story of our experience and impact in a way that resonates with prospective clients. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our business development and proposal writing efforts, ensuring our submissions are high-quality, timely, and competitive. You will also manage the internal reference library, maintain up-to-date proposal materials, and help coordinate cross-functional efforts that support client acquisition and retention. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Proposal Development and Management

  • Coordinate the end-to-end proposal development process, including writing, editing, formatting, and submitting proposals and RFP responses. 
  • Collaborate with consultants and leadership to craft persuasive, tailored proposals and capability statements. 
  • Maintain and update standard proposal templates, bios, case studies, and project descriptions. 
  • Track proposal progress, manage timelines, and ensure submissions meet internal and client deadlines. 

Reference Library and Knowledge Management

  • Maintain and update a centralized library of project references, case studies, and credentials. 
  • Develop and implement efficient systems for organizing and retrieving proposal content. 
  • Regularly update data on firm experience, client outcomes, and relevant project metrics. 

Project Coordination

  • Support project teams by tracking deliverables, milestones, and deadlines. 
  • Monitor workflow and coordinate communication across departments to ensure timely delivery. 
  • Assist in the preparation of internal reports, performance dashboards, and summaries of business development activity. 

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate is:

  • An organized and detail-oriented professional who enjoys balancing writing, coordination, and information management. 
  • Skilled at developing clear, persuasive written materials with attention to tone and accuracy. 
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment. 
  • Familiar with CRM, proposal tracking, or project management tools.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Adobe Acrobat. 
  • Experienced in a professional services, consulting, or proposal management environment (1- 4 years preferred). 
  • A proactive communicator who can work both independently and collaboratively with consultants and senior leaders. 
  • Experience in management consulting environments is an asset.
